FLASHSCAN delivers immense value for library patron self-checkout services. However, for Libraries that wish to elevate their self-checkout services to an even greater level, LAT offers the following added value options:

FLASHSCAN -FrontDesk™ empowers Library personnel to assist Patrons at FLASHSCAN stations, via the network, from the circ counter. True convenience for the Library and patrons.

FLASHSCAN -FlashSync™ allows FLASHSCAN to track  self-checkout of materials when the ILS is down, or not available to FLASHSCAN and ILS stations at the circ counter. Thus, neither patrons nor circ counter staff are inconvenienced by the ILS outage.

FLASHSCAN - PayAtTheStation™ empowers patrons to pay fines and fees at the FLASHSCAN station while performing the self-checkout process. The initial offering of this option is in conjunction with the SAM™ services product from Comprise Technologies, Inc.
