Real CD/DVD Security

allCIRC™ is designed to function as the gatekeeper of the library’s collection of CD’s, DVDs, and Game Discs. The discs are safe and secure inside the allCIRC™ vault awaiting self-checkout by patrons.

allCIRC™ stores the discs dynamically, up to 400 discs. Due to the dynamic nature of storage, the allCIRC™ system can easily support much larger disk collections than the actual physical capacity. Since the ILS circulation materials database is tracking the entire disc collection, allCIRC™ only needs to be concerned with the discs that are actually in the library. allCIRC™ dynamically tracks what items have been checked out, checkin, and what items are stored inside the unit.

allCIRC™ provides the Library true security for their digital disc materials. Thus, a real solution to the serious problem of skyrocketing theft of digital disc materials. There is no need to purchase lock-boxes, magnetic strips, RFID-donut tags, or lock items behind the counter.
